camping isn't camping
with an r.v.
or an air mattress.
I like the knotty ground beneath me as I sleep.
I like having a sore back, if that's what it takes.
I love the smell of campfire, the dust and grit that coats your
body no matter how many times you frequent the water tank.
The only thing that gives me the creeps? Port-A-Johns. Ick.
