It's that time of the year again! Can you believe that it is nearly OCTOBER? I love autumn. And what a pleasant word- autumn. I'm so excited because I have a photography assignment and I'm going to go up to snowbasin and take some awesome pictures. I'll be sure to post them too!

Here are my favorite things about this season:

-The colors! Burnt orange, mustard yellow, crimson...ahh
-The crunching of leaves under your feet
-Fall decorations: scarecrows, pumpkins..
-The crisp air.
-It's jacket weather :) And I love this red pea coat.

And isn't this a beautiful picture (that i didn't take)? Ahh..fall.

i'm addicted to the new shoes my mom bought as a surprise "just because I love you" gift. They are patchwork shoes, but I wear them with more colors than what the shoe entails. So much fun!

Bingo

Two of my friends and I have decided that for our NHS service hours, we would go help with Bingo at the local care center. Let me tell you..I never had so much fun playing bingo, or giving service! Kaylee, Logan, and I are the three that have gone so far. I wasn't sure if Logan would enjoy playing bingo with old people, but he has the most fun out of all of us. It makes me so happy just to see him having such a good time serving. So far, I've gone three times. Today I was the only one able to go, and I ended up staying while we played 21 (which is a really fun game).

Here are some things said at the care center:

"I won! Woo woo! All aboard!"- Carl (He is Logan's bingo buddy, but today I helped him.)

Carl laughs whenever he gets a number, and will always repeat what the announcer is saying. The first time we went, all the ladies at my table were mumbling, "I wish Carl would just hush up!" But today, helping him, I couldn't help but smile each time he chuckled in his deep, aged tone.

"Lucky for some and not for others, B 13"
"Double Nickels, G 55. G 55"
"Any way you look at it, O 69. O 69."
"One duck. B 2. Quack quack!"
"Two to the ducks. I 22. Quack quack!" (this one really gets Carl laughing).
"Two to the chicken legs. B 11"
-all said by the Bingo announcer. I don't know how he came up with all of those, but that's bingo language.

It's so fun, and I look forward to going again.

We are going to a tumbling gym for our day activity (today is homecoming). It should be lots of fun, even though I'm no gymnast.

Utah State Fair

My family went to the fair on Thursday. It was SO much fun! My favorite thing is the photography. There are some AMAZING photographers out there. I got some great ideas from their photos. I also enjoyed all the animals, and the delicious funnel cake at the end. Here are some pics from the fair:

After walking around for awhile, my plantar fascis kicked in. What is that, you ask? Well, it's the cause of my aching foot. I always thought my foot hurt because of my lack of arches. But, apparently, that's not the case. No, the tendon on the bottom of my foot is tight and so it causes pain. Yep..luckily, Becky had these Foam Fit Adidas sandals and she traded with me. Comfort, at last.
