Well, I cheated a little bit with the help of a sock. Wait, what? Seriously. I used a sock in my hair! You can check out the tutorial here. Here is what mine looked like:

I'm pretty tempted to do this hairstyle tomorrow too. It's so quick. And I love it. Plus, some people had to take a second glance at me today because I very, very rarely wear my hair up. It's a nice change!

my usual go to hairstyle is pulled back in a ponytail where the hair isn't pulled all the way through. it's lazy.
but this morning i tried your sock bun technique. i love it. makes me feel more polished than i actually am. especially because it's noon and i'm still in my yoga pants and tank top that i slept in. but at least my hair looks nice. :)
I'm going to try this. I have found lots of new hair ideas on pinterest. I usually have pinterest hair fridays :)
the first time i did that, i felt silly with a huge thing of hair on top of my head, but now i love ittt! and i get lots of compliments too. it's great. :D
