it's ironic.

Isn't ironic how one thing can make you so happy...and the next minute your mood can completely change?

Is this only something I deal with?

Or, thinking way too long and hard about something...getting all excited, and then being let down.

So I ask the question- would you rather get hyped up and all excited only to be disappointed? Or is it better to be realistic from the start, that way eliminating or at least lessening the pain?

Good question. I'm a dreamer by nature so I always fantasize things way out of proportion. In my head things get so hyped up until I can barely tell where they began. Unfortunately the let down is super bad when things don't go as planned. I always feel like an idiot afterwards and wonder why I dreamed things up so much. So I think, if its possible, that being realistic in the beginning is best.
How about you?
p.s. thanks for relating to my problems on my blog :) I'm sure that boy only felt obligated to get the other girls' number haha.

Good question sis. I think you should be both. We have to be realistic dreamers in life. I think it's healthy to keep base with reality. Remember, dream of things that you can accomplish with hard work. You can't change people or force them to do anything - so dream of what you can do (maybe just leave the other person out). Have a vacant space in the dream without a specific person...Hah, maybe I'm a pessimist. I used to always think I was so optimistic!
