Random, Like Me.

I don't really know what to write about today...I wish I was creative enough to think of something extraordinary to post. As it is, I 'm not. Here are some questions I decided to answer. You can too, if you want.

Do you prefer communicating through phone, internet or face-to-face? Face-to-face is the best. Then again, I enjoy texting, and talking on the phone.

Do you plan on going to University, College or straight into the Workplace? A university I'm pretty sure.

What is your favourite genre of book and movie? I love reading historical romance novels, and I love watching chick flicks. But I'm also a sucker for a good suspensful (sp?)film- like Deja Vu!

Would you describe yourself as an introvert or an extrovert? Extrovert, definitely.

What is your favourite caffeinated beverage? Dr. Pepper!

Top ten favourite CDs: This is a hard question, but here they go: Carrie Underwood- Carnival Ride, Carrie Underwood- Some Hearts, A Fine Frenzy- One Cell In The Sea, Hairspray Soundtrack, Reba McEntire- Duets, Kelly Clarkson (her second cd), High School Musical 2 (I know, I know), EFY- The Greatest Gift, Taylor Swift, and...Rascal Flatts

What was the last thing you ate? Four-cheese rotini in spaghetti sauce with breadsticks. And milk.

What CD is in your CD player right now? Good question, let me check...HSM 2

List two bad habits that you have- Liking too many guys, saying "so" all the time.

Describe your morning ritual- I set my alarm for about twenty minutes earlier than I need to get up so I can hit snooze twice. Then I get up, say my prayers, enter bathroom. Pull back my hair, and wash my face. After applying toner, I put in my contacts, then apply face moisturizer. Then, I brush my teeth, and begin to straighten my hair and apply makeup. Somewhere in there I squeeze in breakfast (or grab it to go),get dressed for the day, and head off to school.

What movie have you watched the most? Honestly, probably While You Were Sleeping

Creative minds...

I have some creative guys out there! So I went on a date today (we were off for a teacher work-day) and it was probably one of the most creative and fun dates ever. I wish I took pictures but the batteries in my camera are dead. Anyway, I went with my friend Brad. They had dutch oven lunch with carrots, potatoes, chicken, and onions. And then a decadent chocolate cake with fudge swirls...it was devine. Then the boys blindfolded us and we drove around in the car. When we arrived at our destination, they led us somewhere, and we took off our blindfolds to see this HUGE snow fort. More like an igloo. It was actually in my friend's backyard and I knew we were going there the whole time because I watched them start building it on Friday. But Friday night it was a small little area inside. Tonight, we could have easily fit four more people inside. They laid a tarp and blankets on the ground inside. Then they'd brought out an extension cord so we could play Scene It! and had some other games. It was way roomy and there were six of us. We played Disney's Scene It! then Catch Phrase- which I was suprisingly good at "the world" topic. And the entertainment one too. Anyway, it was SO fun! I'm glad I know these guys.

Earlier I went sledding down this HUGE hill. We actually ran at this park during cross country and I remember everyone telling me they went sledding there. Anyway, it was so fun! There were some jumps, and the guys in our group went down them, but I was too scared! Way fun though.

Okay that's it- tomorrow is real life again. School. Second term. Ugh.

my favorite song :)

farm-boy update

Well Colin had to reschedule. But I'll tell you why. We were going to go to this Jazz club called Citrus and Sage (I know, snazzy) but he is already driving almost an hour to my house, then another hour to the club, so we decided to do something more locally. He asked me what there is to do around here. Hmm...they just put in a new movie theater? But of course, that's lame. Luckily, he is one of those guys who wants to do something on a first date. He called and said "I have some bad news..." which I of course new meant that we weren't going. He said that he didn't want to just go to a movie, so him and his friend were going to plan something really fun and then we'd go. Then he said this, "But we WILL go on one in a few weeks. I promise! Don't give up on me, Cheri." Aww...cute cute cute. So now Ihave something to look forward to! And I will be taking my camera because he is dang cute! Becky saw a picture of him and thought he was in his 20's. haha.

Hmm...since I'm not going with Colin, I was asked to go see National Treasure 2 but I already told the kid that I had plans. Too bad.

Yesterday was so great. In my calc. lab class, I finished all my math homework. This new chapter seems so easy compared to the last one. In the last chapter, we would only finish a few problems in Lab because I just didn't understand them! So, it's been quite a relief to know things might get a little easier.

Also, I had worked for four hours (two hours each on Tuesday and Wednesday) to complete about 50 history terms that my ap teacher sprang on us Tuesday, saying they were due Thursday. So most of my friends did about ten of them. In class, he was still lecturing on the chapter that came before our assignment. And we didn't even start the next chapter! I was so mad that I had spent all that time on them. But now I'm grateful- I have no history homework! And we don't go back to school till Tuesday because the quarter ended Friday so Monday is a teacher work-day.

I came home, went in my room, turned on A Fine Frenzy, and layed in my bed. I have the CD pretty much memorized, but it was great to feel unburdened. I ended up falling asleep. Some of my guy friends wanted me to hang out (it's weird- I either hang out with Kamilla, or Derek, Brad, and Skylar.) But I didn't go because i decided to just stay home. I watched the Lake House, then mom and I watched Hairspray. And i think for fun, I'm going to try and imitate Penny Pingleton's hairdo. that should be a fun Saturday afternoon activity.

This post has been way long! Sorry!

time for an update!

I don't even know if anyone reads this blog, but it makes me feel accomplished to write a little bit on it. I can't believe the last time I wrote was last year.

Life has been crazy-hectic! It's had ups and downs. I've been a "dating maniac" as my friends like to say recently. I gave this analogy- I was in a dating famine, but now it's a feast. I don't know what happened, but suddenly..boys are actually doing more than "hanging out". I'm VERY excited for an upcoming date. I'm going on a date with a friend who I work with, and he is a farm boy :) I love guys like that. And he sings. And he is into politics. Which makes me proud to say that I know quite a bit about this election! Or maybe I just care more because I am actually near voting age (do you know I miss the election by a little over a week? Depressing!). I probably am more aware because the last presidential election was when I was like 14. Anyway, he did ask me on a date that might have to be rescheduled. But I'm excited nonetheless. On to other things...

SCHOOL has been such a roller-coaster. I've been so stressed out recently with Calculus! It frustrates me so bad. Then I just try and realize that it is a college class so I shouldn't be so hard on myself! I'm ready for second semester though.

Other recent events...we had a seminary talent show as an "end-of-semester" thing. It's sad because I LOVE my seminary class, and a lot of people are moving periods. And even if we stay in the same period, we probably won't have the same teacher again! Well, anyway, I sang Teardrops On My Guitar while my friend Derek played it on the guitar. It was so fun. And some people were recording it on their phones, which was a little strange, but...whatever!

I had no homework today and yet I still will probably be up till midnight. Stupid bad sleep habits! If i try and go to bed earlier, it doesn't work!

Well, auvoire (?)
