halfway mint

So, tonight I went to get a shake with some friends. I ordered mint oreo. I normally order oreo (about 98 percent of the time), so this was a stretch for me. We get the shakes, and I think to myself, "Self, these shakes don't look very minty." We leave, and as I begin to eat it, I can't tell if I can taste mint or not. I couldn't tell if I was just trying to tell myself it was minty because I wanted it to be. Well, I couldn't really tell because it was dark in the car. Then I got home, and in the light of the living room, I could see a spider in the top of my shake!! How disgusting, and how untrue. Did I catch you off guard? Haha...excellent. No, actually what I found was that my shake was a very very light green, not at all the color I expected. I know why I stick with plain-jane Oreo- I'm never dissapointed!
